Thanks Charles!

Note to Frank....see tag line lol

I must find the post but in March, the RRO was sitting in his garden (in Seattle) looking at his flowers and reflecting on his life. He was describing all the foliage starting to bloom.

He mentioned his "fresia"(spelled Freesia,BTW)

Well, Freesia grows in the tropics, or very warm climate, and the temp in Seattle in March was between 40-50 degrees.

After this post I am waiting for the RRO to say his garden is actually a greenhouse.

He seems to change his story to try and keep up with our facts...LOL

Chiming in late here, I know...had the flu...don't know where it came from in JUNE, no less, but trying to catch up. I live in Oregon and we do grow Freesia here. I plant it in pots and just bring the pots in for the winter if it's particularly cold. Usually, they winter over very well (we plant the bulbs in the fall) and they bloom away in the spring and summer. the Pac NW had a very unusual winter this year...not nearly as cold as expected and things started blooming much sooner. Even the hummingbirds showed up a month ahead of schedule.
