SILVER cowboy boots and a flowing scarf obviously aren't enough to save an otherwise naked person from a charge of wilful exposure.

Morgyn Quinn found that out in the Brisbane Magistrate's Court yesterday after he led a 30-strong troupe of scantily-clad cyclists on a ride across the city last month to protest the council's proposed North-South Bypass tunnel.
The 30-year-old pleaded guilty yesterday to wilful exposure in Albert St on May 15 after the protesters rode from West End across the Goodwill Bridge before most of them were pulled up by police at the Botanic Gardens.
"We planned to go to King George Square but we didn't quite make it," Quinn said outside court yesterday.
The police paddy wagon clearly moved a bit quicker than Quinn's tricycle which he blamed for holding him back.
"The tricycle was really slow," he said. "I think I would have made a proper getaway if I'd had a quicker bike."
Even so, Quinn said the trike was "pretty flash" as he rode it wearing only a pair of silver cowboy boots and a silver space helmet.
"I did have a scarf that hung very low, but obviously not low enough," he said.
Magistrate Jacqui Payne said it Quinn's behaviour was probably out of character and did not record a conviction before sentencing him to a six-month good-behaviour bond.
Quinn who has no criminal history has been a 10-year veteran of various social and environmental campaigns which he normally carried out completely clothed.
"I'm not sure if what we've done is going to change anything but I think any sort of project like this needs to be challenged in some way," he said of the tunnel plan.
"You can't just let things go through all the time."
Reminds me of a "Family Guy" when Lois and Peter are sharing a romantic drink together one evening. She seductively tells Peter, "I'm not wearing any panties", to which he replies, "we can always burn that chair later."
