I have never been a big fan of Val Kilmer

Val Kilmer was once asked to name his list of the ten best movies of all time. He named:

• The Salton Sea (2002)
• Pollock (2000)
• The Saint (1997)
• The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996)
• Batman Forever (1995)
• Tombstone (1993)
• The Doors (1991)
• Gore Vidal's Billy the Kid (1989)
• Willow (1988)
• Top Gun (1986)

All are movies that he had either a staring or supporting role.

The only one of these I enjoyed were Tombstone, Heat and Spartan... And such as his reply is one of the reasons I don't care much for Val

Billy Idol was first choice to play Jim Morrison in The Doors.

A near-fatal motorcycle accident put Billy out of commission and Val got the role instead.

Billy got a bit part in the movie and is always shown sitting down due to the body cast he still wore.

Billy woulda done Mr Mojo true cinematic justice although I think Michael Ian Black would've been a great "dead ringer", physically, with the right hair.
