I don't know if Publius6961 answered your post. Sears Point opened in 1968. I don't know who built it. My best friend's dad owned Nunleys Water Truck Rentals at the time and did some work out there. Used to tell me they would race the heavy equipment around the track before it was paved. Also, his dad told me, a local, pretty big paving contractor, Ghilotti Brothers Construction started out there when they owned two trucks. Now you can't go a day without seeing a Ghilotti truck driving around.

I thought it was in the mid 50's and Arthur B Siri was the contractor but I was younger back then and I think my memory was also better...
