Funny. I should probably name one one of our servers BOFH just to see if anyone recognises it. Since I manage our DNS (amongst other things), I can pretty much do that on the fly :-)

If I remember correctly Simon is Austrailian. His sense of humor definitely twisted. I wonder if he refers to BOFH on his resume. It might put some prospective employers off. That might be a good thing though. I'd much rather work for someone that 'gets' the Bastard than one who doesn't.

Nope. He told me back then that at his current place of employment, any reference to the BOFH would be "politically incorrect."

LOL! I'll bet his boss gets (ahem) "colorful" emails from some very (ahem) "colorful" newsgroups over that one.
