I've had my children immunized against certain diseases because I believe the risk of the disease outweighs the risk of the immunization. For example, my daughters recieved MMR (measles, mumps and reubella) vaccination after they turned 12 and had not recieved natural immunities from contracting the actual diseases as children. The purpose for this is because pregnant women who contract reubella will often give birth to children with deformities.
I EXEMPTED them legally, from full immunizations, because I did not want to give up my RIGHT to decide when and where immunizations were accteptable.
I just want to reiterate this statement, it is very important to remember......
