It was murder, by Judge's order. A heinous and vile murder -- particularly torturous and vile to starve a beloved daughter in front of her parents, to deny her water.
Absurd. There was nothing unusual about this case except the crowd of loons gathered outside the hospice and their supporters here.
Hundreds of patients who are incapable of living face the same fate TS did. They cannot be maintained indefinitely with nothing but a hideous fate before them. No society can spend MORE than ours on medical care and the more that is wasted on hopeless pretenses is the less that can do good. Such expenses are NEVER undertaken unless some third party is FORCED to pay for them.
There was nothing there but a lump of flesh activated by some autonomous functions. Her brain was gone. Her spirit gone. There was nothing to kill just a shell which should have been allowed to go to the grave a decade ago but for fanatic parents and political opportunists.
She couldn't swallow, see, feel, think. No existence could be more horrible.
