Free Republic

Slandering our soldiers recieved 100 posts.
Schiavo recieved over 600.
I guess Durbin, a United States Senator, will again get away with slander and aiding and abetting our enemies.

Whoa, good point. Don't forget to count up the multiple threads on same subjects.

Yeah, there must've been close to half a million Schiavo related threads as the whole issue got hijacked by the rabid pro-life crowd (vs the rationalist pro-life crowd).

Terri's plight is and was very important, and I wanted her parents to take care of her.

But this bastard holding the office of United States Senator, slandering or soldiers who are in DANGER right now, has got to be called out on it.

Here's the balance, roses, murder versus general slander. Oh now, which pan in the hands of Lady Liberty weighs down more?

Seems to me that US Senators slandering US Soldiers is becoming so common and accepted that it's no big deal anymore. That's what liberals want. That and all of them wish it were still the 1960s.

I understand, and agree, but TODAY we need to be active, very active, Durbin at the very least should be censured.

Little dickie aka eddie haskell has never met a live solider he like, but you are not going to be able to do anything about him, cause he is a made man of the daley crime machine which controls illinois politics.
So grin and bear it, and remember that the state of radical republicans has become supporters of the party of the KKK.

And I thought we vowed not to let this happen to our guys again?

I think it just just shows that Durbin knows the Dim base. He will get away with it, because the majority of the base agree with him.

We will see in his next general electon if he pays a price. This is of course the main reason why the Dims are shrinking.

Durbin spoke just last nite on the Senate floor and said that we have no concern for human life, and that our soldiers were acting like Nazis, the Soviets in their Gulags, and Pol Pot.
To: roses of sharon
They're both important issues, and you can't gauge their individual importance by number of replies. A decent ZOT will get hundreds of comments, and so will Jacko-bunk. Nevertheless, thanks for the reminder to email Dicky "Pol Pot" Durbin.

Starving someone to death is a far more serious violation of human rights than some stupid statements by liberal Senators....

To: roses of sharon
It's been going on since at least Jane Fonda. They did not even have a trial, let alone an execution for her treason.

What is a "rationalist pro-lifer"?...Somebody who thinks you can starve someone to death even if you ought to have little or no standing in the case?

To: roses of sharon
I knew the democrats were never really "united" after 9/11. They just didn't have the spine to say what they meant. With the pain of 9/11 thawing from the public the democrats can now be themselves again. Anti-war pacifists. What a shame. And the biggest shame is that this idiot Durbin will get away with these statements
