Staunchly conservative political radio commentator Rush Limbaugh is heard by more than 20 million listeners a day on more than 600 stations nationwide.

Recently he has been dogged by scandals involving prescription drug use and making alleged racist comments against Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb during a network football show.

That's not unlike the snippet I saw last night concerning Thomas Jefferson, which spent as much if not more time on slavery as it did with the good things he did.

The point? Does he fit into the Greatest Americans list more than say a George Washighton, John Adams, Monroe, Jefferson? Rush is great for what he does... he is a RADIO HOST!
