Agreed! So many idiots voting for celebrities not great Americans. None on the list even come close to GREAT except George Washington.... though Reagan is the closest 2nd.
Most people do not know how smart and truly patriotic George Washington was. After beating the British many wanted to make him KING. He soundly turned them down. He was a smart business man too.
People need to really read about him. Visit his farm. He was all the founders ever wanted everyone to have a chance to become. Perfect for the first president of this (once) great land.
None since comes close. That being said who wants to bet that a liberal is not chosen? I bet one or both of the Clintons is in the top 5.
Did anyone see Maria Schiver gushing over Hillary? That was early and that was where I turned it off. Sickening.

"Recently he has been dogged by scandals involving prescription drug use and making alleged racist comments against Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb during a network football show."
The point? Does he fit into the Greatest Americans list more than say a George Washighton, John Adams, Monroe, Jefferson? Rush is great for what he does... he is a RADIO HOST!
Nothing more! Geez

Ronald Reagan's the man. Vote toll-free (land lines) through Monday, June 13th in this phase of the competition:
Ronald Reagan

It's a sad commentary on our nation that Bill Clinton and Oprah Winfrey both made the final 25. A teenager who gets my fast-food order right at a drive-thru window is a greater American than an impeached disgrace of a former president or a hyper-emotional talk show host.

The Father of our Country.
No one else even comes close.
