Raging Against Self-Defense

"If people carry guns, there will be murders over parking spaces and neighborhood basketball games."

"I'd rather be raped than have some redneck militia type try to rescue me." How often have you heard these statements from misguided advocates of victim disarmament, or even woefully uninformed relatives and neighbors? Why do people cling so tightly to these beliefs, in the face of incontrovertible evidence that they are wrong? Why do they get so furiously angry when gun owners point out that their arguments are factually and logically incorrect?

How can you communicate with these people who seem to be out of touch with reality and rational thought?

One approach to help you deal with anti-gun people is to understand their psychological processes. Once you understand why these people behave so irrationally, you can communicate more effectively with them.

Funny how you never hear about a shooting at a gun show or NRA convention.

I wonder why that is.

Because they want to die.

No, they want to see *you* die first, and as you feed them their extermination is a forgone conclusion after they witness your death via their "lawful" decree.

Who cares what the mouse thinks before the hawk eats his or her arse. They are mice. It is a moral imperative that man use the best available machine to prevent his or her unnecessary death. Again, they are mice, and matter not to the rational people who will in any case survive... Even their nonsense.

Thinking humans could care less, and thinking humans bear arms. It is the nature of the terrain on which we are currently deployed.

Bang bang, have no fear of the fag who wants to stick a flower in your rifle barrel and take it.

It takes balls in spades to disarm a known dangerous person; imagine trying to disarm a person who is not a criminal, but for the fact of a firearm registration. The greatest fighter on earth knows what to expect from the second greatest fighter on earth. The greatest fighter on earth is at a loss as to what to expect from one who has never fought anyone. Therine the danger lies, and that danger is well known to those who deal with such danger daily.
