East or west or north or south,
No difference at all.
If you’re here, I am content,
Winter, spring, summer, fall.
We journey on together,
Yes, side by side we go.
For me there is no other,
But that, I know, you know.
No burdens do I carry,
When you are here with me.
Your hand in mine, I’m happy,
And rich as I can be.
Your presence is a blessing,
For which thanks I do give.
I’ll pray that you’re beside me,
As long as I may live.
