In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

1. The state or quality of requiring much effort or immediate action. 2. A pressing or urgent situation. See Synonyms at crisis. 3. Urgent requirements; pressing needs. Often used in the plural.
concupiscence; n
A strong desire, especially sexual desire; lust

sounds good, a short work day. sad story down in B'ham with the young girl lost in Aruba. hard to tell what happened there, whether foul play or she just ran off.
