I know CNN had a videotape for sale that chronicled the whole day and their coverage of it. If you can't find any more info, let me know...I'll see if I can dig one up

I have a dvd called "What we saw" by Dan Rather. He sounds so stupid on it. When the second plane hits, he has to ask the eyewitness he is talking to what happened, even though the camera clearly showed the second plane hitting.
I bought a DVD from Wal-Mart's $5 bin. It has both live footage and interviews from CNN anchors that were there... it's called "CNN Tribute - America Remembers: The Events of September 11th and America's Response"

If you're looking for a scene of how it was that day in real time, this is not it... but it has a lot of the footage that aired that day reformatted...
