Does anyone knnow where I can buy a tape from Foxnews, CNN, etc of 9/11? I'm looking for when the story actually broke and throughout the whole day.
I know CNN had a videotape for sale that chronicled the whole day and their coverage of it. If you can't find any more info, let me know...I'll see if I can dig one up
Wasn't there a website that kept all of the tapes as a historical resource? Was that taken down?
go to amazon.com and type "9-11" under VHS tapes
I have a dvd called "What we saw" by Dan Rather. He sounds so stupid on it. When the second plane hits, he has to ask the eyewitness he is talking to what happened, even though the camera clearly showed the second plane hitting.
I tried that. It's all what happened after type stuff except for the French brother's video, which I taped when it was broadcast the first time.
ALL the ones that suggest what need(ed) be done, IMO.
I bought a DVD from Wal-Mart's $5 bin. It has both live footage and interviews from CNN anchors that were there... it's called "CNN Tribute - America Remembers: The Events of September 11th and America's Response"

If you're looking for a scene of how it was that day in real time, this is not it... but it has a lot of the footage that aired that day reformatted...
***Sept. 11 COMPLETE TV archive from 19 different TV stations around the world ready to view***
I dont think its related. A lot of heated discussions have taken place since then. (Kinda wierd tho.)
It seemed like time dragged that day, and it's a shock to see how fast it all happened.
Indeed.
Just ordered it for $2.50.
Thats the one I taped from regular TV with the two French brothers.
I'm watching it right now myself...
Make sure you buy a box of tissues too.
I read that thread a while back. It was like it was happening all over again for me.
