Here is the interview with cash and landrum with USAF officials at Langstom AFB, read it and get a feel how our officials view citizens who witness UFOs.http://ufologie.net/htm/cashlandrumint01.htm#doc
please view the above post.
shameless bump
So tell us please, what happened to maineman
anybody know why???
Please excuse us but why was maineman banned, is he a disruptore? many want to know what his infraction was.
He wasn't banned. He got a timeout for posting a (ahem) UFO sighting in breaking news. I've restored his account.
'e's back!
Seriously...trust the mods they usually... err...always know what they're doing.
OK but check my links, they do happen, even if you don't believe, thanks.
I was perplexed when I heard about the time out. I'm glad I didn't see anything, because I probably would have posted it there too! Thanks for hookin' Maineman back up Jim!
Could have been Star Jones on vacation skydiving.
Yeah, I know. They happen all the time. So they don't belong in breaking news. The "UFO" topic in this "General Interest" forum is fine.
Didn't realise it was in breaking, you are right, unless we really are being invaded, then boy are you gonna be in trouble.
So he does; and with slender resources, he accomplishes much simply by compiling and posting sighting reports online.
Years ago saw one in northern (way northern) VT. Round, colored lights, flashing, hovered for a long time, no sound whatsoever, than zipped away super fast.
No intoxication involved.
Whether from some other planet or secret military stuff, who knows. One reads various theories.
I kind of think I saw a UFO in NYC once too.
...and a weather balloon.
Thanks.
My read on current things is . . . that sightings are likely to increase and become more brazenly vivid than ever over the rest of the summer. Could, of course, be wrong!
My friends at my last stop--saw a UFO as big as a football field--he was a locally famous football player in High School--hover over their car not long after their marriage--They had a hard time estimating how high it was but could see it rather plainly--metalic color--oval, as I recall.
The wife and her sister often saw lights, ?saucers?, orbs--in the distance--flying in a manner characteristic of UFO's as they were playing on the Navajo Reservation. This would be their ages about 6-8 or so. They saw them flying lower than the Lukachuki Mountains.
Could still be an interesting summer/fall for our country.
Dave, I don't know if you think this is worth pinging the group about, or not. Up to you.
