Good morning! I hope I remembered to ping everyone!

First off, I must say thank you to thehost. Our stay was so nice. I enjoyed just getting to hang out with Mrsnad...we had so much in common and shared many a hearty laugh during our conversations. G'nad made my husband feel welcome...I really believe Steve had the time of his life. And when Osage and Talon got there, it just got better. He got to do things that HE likes to do and thoroughly enjoyed himself. That makes me so grateful in my heart and I'm so appreciative.

(Steve took wild turkey breast to work with him...oh, he's gonna have a lot to talk about at work!)

Also, on Steve's behalf, I want to thank the Hobbit Hole for your graduation gift. Steve was very moved. We remain pretty stunned and delighted. Last night Steve was sitting in the chair looking at the card and he just shook his head in amazement and said "What generous people!" I replied "I know that for a fact." Then we got to talking about the Bug again...which is a real good thing. We haven't done much talking about it lately...there was really nothing more we could do for free or cheap!

So, thank you, my FRiends, for your kindness and most of all your friendship...

Rick, thank you so much for the "door prizes"! I have some questions about the knife, but will freepmail them to you later.

I'm sure I've left people off my ping list...but my intentions are good!

G'nads...thank you so much for hosting the moot! You have a truly beautiful home there - the sort of place I dream about having someday: plenty of land and off the beaten track, with room for a garden and a good patch of woods, porches for sitting and talking - that was just wonderful, especially early in the morning with the birds singing and the air still cool. *sigh* It was lovely. And the food! I wish't I'd had a hollow leg! It was really good...especially the shrimp and the Bambi bits. And it was great getting to see thegirl again! She's a really special little girl. Wish Margaret could have been there, too. I know she was very disappointed that it didn't work out.

Thanks to all who brought guns and ammunition! Coming from knowing *nothing* about shooting, I feel like I at least know enough to know I wanna learn more. And I want a .22 rifle to play around with and a revolver of some sort for self-defence and target practice. I really liked the revolvers...the simplicity appeals to me. And they're purty...

OT and 2J - thanks again for playing music with me! I really enjoyed that. Wish we'd had more time, but I guess that'll have to wait for future moots. I was also a little disappointed that we didn't really get to hear g'nad sing. Again...just means we gotta meet again!
