Stupid Iowa laws. I am waiting for my renewed pistol purchase permit to come in the mail so I can go pick up the new toy I ordered on friday. If only I had noticed that that was the expiration date (curses!). Heres hoping it comes tomorrow and I can go pick it up before I head down.

Heh... that's always been one of my special peeves with those silly waiting period or permit laws. Gotta wait 5 days to buy a new gun... when I have a gunsafe *full* of other guns already.

Looks like some good mooting goin' on.
My sister got back* to Finland OK...just in time to be "let go".
If she gets another job over there, it'll be her fourth. Kinda hoping she gives a look over this way.
If nothing else it would take the pressure off me, being the only immediate family on the same continent :/
*She was with my mom in Washington when Mom broke her arm.
