This is looking from Charlies front yard toward Jennys side. That hill at the back is part of the ridge we live on altho we live to the right of the picture. Their land is about 6.5 road miles from us.

We had originally bought this land to put our brood mares we were going to have on after we bought Rocky. We did do tha for a few years, had about 4. But taking care of livestock that is away from where you live is a real pain. Especially in winter when they need to be fed 2 times a year.

We thought about selling and moving there too at one time, but just never had the ambition, so giving it to the kids was the best thing. Kept them close, but far enough that we don't infringe on each others lives.
