BTW - We've got a busy day planned here, if I disappear at various points. Our horse shoer is coming this morning.... usually around 10 but who knows.

We're gonna go on a short trail ride tonight after ecurbh gets off work... Trailer them to a trailhead that has a wide water crossing within a mile or so to get to, and work Cyn on both the water crossing and bridges... We thought it'd be a good short jaunt and good lesson to do all on it's own, instead of rushing it because we have a whole trail ride to get on with. We'll got there and spend as much time in the water as we need... or until dark, whichever comes first ;~D

I expect after the first hesitation she'll go right in, and I suspect she'll have no qualms about the bridge. She just isn't timid about spooky things at all. We may have blown up her water-resistance from the first trail ride... It was a very narrow creek, many horses will jump such things if they can... and even Bay won't walk in a puddle if he has a choice.

Since you've been so kind on the above post... here's a couple more pictures I noticed out of the bunch that are worthy of posting, now that I look at them again in the light of day.

This horse is coming back down after either a Corbette or Capriole, and I notice now that the rider lost his stirrup, but not his seat. I didn't even notice this at the time.

This was the gal who originally rode out with the flag for the anthem, whose horse acted up and wasn't going to be able to go. Made a pretty picture here, though.

I thought this picture was good... the first pair are doing a half-pass with shoulder-out, the second pair shoulder-in... trotting straight down the carpet.

This horse had is tongue out the entire time. He's also pictured in the first set of pics doing a Corbette. The MC spoke that yes, they know lolling like this is a vice or fault in dressage, but stopping it involves harsh methods, and since there are no gold medals at stake and he otherwise performs well, they allow him this one thing ;~D
