She tolerated me pretty well when I had feed in the bucket. I tried to put a string halter on her at first, but she would have none of it and was going to take the baby elsewhere so I backed off...for now. When the feed was gone she walked off, but I just followed. She'd come back to me every now and then to see if the bucket had magically refilled but stepped away when she saw that it hadn't. I just kept standing there and inching my way closer to the baby and he kept circling his mama but finally came on over and let me scratch him. I'll get to play with him lots more this weekend.

Trimming Miss Jenny will have to wait until I can win her confidence enough to get a halter on her. She finally let me scratch her shoulders some before I left, so we're getting there.

Well, if no one's worked with her in a while, she might just resist being caught.... you can't touch my pony either when she's in most moods.... unless you have a bucket ;~D

As long as she was halter broke at some point, that is ;~D
