Well, I met a lady once from the Fish and Game Dept that might be the perfect match for him.

There was a big ol' rattler hanging around my new colt's pasture. With a garden hoe I convinced it to get into a garbage can for a ride to my barn. There it was moved into a small portable wire cage.

A call to the Fish and Game Dept as to what to do with the snake was answered by, we want it for our live snake display. So a lady Game Warden came by, placed the cage in the floor of her truck and drove off. Everyone was happy and the snake gets to live a long life.

See, there are ladies out there that are not afraid of snakes...........

Well I'm not particularly afraid of them, especially the non-poisonous ones, I just have a healthy respect for the dangerous ones. I used to like to play with garter snakes and green snakes and frogs and lizards when I was a little girl. Mama always said I shoulda been a boy. She has a picture of me when I was 3 yrs old and we were down in Florida at that tourist trap called Silver Springs and the man at the reptile show had put a 6ft boa constrictor around my neck. It was so big it drug the ground on both sides. It was cool! So I guess I was warped at an early age.
