One English tv program that I reall miss is the Red Dwarf series, I saw it about 4 years ago over here and haven't seen it since and my mates in England are yakking about it all the time! If anyone knows it's going to be on the box, please let me know! : D
You're right... that is pretty silly! But I have been known to hold the bit in my hand until it's warm on cold days ;~D
Well yeah I do that too. The warming it up without having to touch it was amusing to me though. How do you place and clean a bit without touching one?

ROFL! They are great photos Hair, My horses look dirty and wet right now. Especially Smokey and Sugar who have been rolling in the mud!

Gald you had a nice ride, hopefully the weather will brighten up by the weekend so we can wash and tidy the horses and ride them too! I am still trying to get hold of a new farrier here........maybe Deaconjim needs to change careers as they seem in very short supply!
Oh - and I had a fun story... a testamonial as to why I love my horse so much. I was taking a break from lawn mowing earlier today [I didn't have the camera with me if you can believe that!] and I had shut down the mower and just sat down out in the pasture to rest a minute. Well, Cyn came walkin' up... with a look in her eye that told me she was looking to entertain herself. The look she always has ;~D
Well, I sat there, though I was thinking about getting up as she came closer... I don't particularly trust her enough to sit on the ground around her! Well, Bay came and pinned his ears, ran her off and stood guard over me, the same way he does when the mares nap :~D He's done that before, but I felt loved that he protected me from evil-doers and Cyn too. :~D
I was going to go over to the fairgrounds to ride, but had to wait for the cable repairman. My daughter's 4-H club rides there on Wednesday. She took Jody and Snazzy over. At least the cable is fixed for now. He changed a connection outside. Hopefully, that does it.

...muscle cramps with very little work...back hurts shoveling stalls... ankles are swelling like an old woman!
Those are signs of dehydration.
I frequently have the same problem but when I down an extra bottle or two of H2O, I'm back to normal.

I've had another change of plan:) I for got that I am babysitting Blake tomorrow, but Jenny is going to bring Dot too, and he and I are going trial riding during the day. Then in the evening we are all going to the arena to practice.
I'm loading some pictures I took of Kristy and Rowdy now. Might take awile again. We are loading some kind of software update too.
