The Kids from C.A.P.E.R. Doc, Bugs, Doomsday, and P.T.

What did C.A.P.E.R. stand for? (no peeking!)

One of the really bad things:

Mr. Brady's perm on "The Brady Bunch." Yep, we knew he was gay even back then.

Oh...and Elton John's feathers and sequins phase. YECCHH!

There's gonna be a Land of the Lost remake?! Oh holy cow, how awesome!

We've rented the old ones from Netflix and my 5 and 3 year old love them! It's fun to share my childhood with them. They are currently in love with the Flintstones as well.

"moonlight shining dancin' off her hair"

Hmmmm, not sure which is worst. Me knowing it from memory or you correcting it from memory.

I think we should let the other FReepers decide.

How about it folks. Which is more shameful?

1. Count Chocula & Frankenberry

Don't forget Fruit Brute and Booberry, the other two oh-so-delicious horror-themed General Mills breakfast cereals.

ZZ Top...Great Stuff too. I consider Johnny Cash a product of the 60's. He had a prime time T.V. Show in like '68, '69.

I'll never forget when Cash sang "Sunday Morning Sidewalk" written by Chris Kristofferson and the line ..."wishin' I were stoned." It almost caused his show to be cancelled.

Yes - today I was thinking that exact thing when I was looking for the picture.

It was the last American car I owned and lasted from 76-83. I think I traded it in for my new car in 1983 - a BMW 320i.

Oh... the good ole days....

And on that note, I've got to go take a shower.

Take good care of my thread. And don't do anything I wouldn't do. ;-)

Screen T-shirts with your name ironed on the back of them

That is funny. I still have an ugly light purple sleeveless t-shirt (it was made that way...I did not cut the sleeves off!), with some dumb flowerdy thing on the front, and my name in fuzzy letters on the back. My nine year old sleeps in it.

I read on here earlier today that "Big Brother" is doing a new season. I've never seen that one, but it sounds incredibly stupid.

On the other hand, we didn't have "South Park" and "The Simpsons" in the 70's.
