You listed disco as worse than Jane Fonda! Actually, disco was fun, and it was good, at least before that John Travolta disco movie (senior moment -- I can't remember the name of the movie).
After that movie, disco became more mainstream, and just not what it had been.
What we used to consider disco before that movie was really more funk. So I guess you could add funk to that list as good (at least from my perspective).
We used to go down to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street to the "discos," and had a blast. Times sure have changed. You couldn't pay me enough to go down there on a weekend night now.
