I didn't know them before the Gulf War. I wish I did.

Every time I go by the Courthouse, where the memorial is located, I always think about them.

Tomorrow after the Memorial Day Parade, I will be there with others to remember them and the other brave men and women from Boone County who fought for freedom and peace in all America's wars.

I will salute these two young men and continue to remember...
