While channel smurfing I happened across an ad on the
Disney Channel for a movie entitled: "Romy & Michell: The Beginning"
in the ad one character asks the other:
"Who would you rather have sex with: Rock Hudson or Carey Grant?"
the other character responds thusly: "Aren't they both dead?"
I am no prude but I thought this was supposed to be a "Family" channel.
If I had children I would never let them watch this channel.
Perhaps the odd weather of late can be blamed on
Walt Disney's spinning in his grave affecting the rotation of the Earth,
rather than the mythical Global Warming.
there's a Disney kids channel?
The 1st Romy and Michelle movie is one of my wife's favorites.
hold on there.....
I dont really watch any of them, so I was legitmately wondering...
I was under the impression all of Disney was a kids channel.
I hardly think one silly line in a movie constitutes porn. It might not be suitable for children, but it is not pronography.
I've watched the Disney channel twice - and only for a few minutes. Both times I was disgusted with the behavior of the children in whatever show it was. They were disrespectful and sassy to adults - perfectly bratty. I didn't stick around long enough to see if there was a lesson taught at the end about that kind of behavior, but I seriesly doubt there was.
A fair mistake. ABC is owned by Disney.
Romy & Michelle is definitely not a children's movie. Shouldn't be on a family channel.
As for Disney, it's full of sorcery, witchcraft, wizards, etc.---all presented in a supposedly "harmless" way. Disney has been opening up children's minds to the occult for years now.
Parents, please don't accept movies or TV shows just because they bear the "Disney" name (or the "Family Channel" for that matter).
Be careful with so-called "family channels." They are usually unholy indoctrination channels. Remember what constitutes a "family" these days.
You are so correct. My Sis and Bro-Inlaw never let their kids watch that tripe. I guess nobody at these channels have any conscience at all.
Go to http://www.rogerlsimon.com/ and ask Roger. His wife wrote the movie.
