I've heard several talk show hosts talk about a recent (I think it's recent) study about how ill informed students were about history, for example not knowing who fought in Civil war, WWI, etc.
I think Sean Hannity may have referred to it yesterday in his man in the street radio segment but I just heard the end of it.
Unfortunately I've never been able catch any of the details of the study like the age group, the actual questions that were asked in the study and the actual statistics.
Since Freepers are so well informed I'm hoping someone can help me.I'm preparing a talk about Memorial Day and I would like to use some of the statitics from the study if I can find it.
Thanks, Sky

I don't know where you're gonna find anything in print. I've just done a google search but nada. But Jay Leno does the same thing, from time-to-time. You might try going to hannity.com, you may have to 'join' the site, then there may be something within. I just didn't go that far.
And it IS amazing how little U.S. citizens, specifically the ones born and raised in the U.S., know of the history of this country. Heck, I'm a young 58, and I'm still learning.
Good luck in your search.
