The best beer in the world?

Hummm....It's either the Chimay Premier or Clan Lurkers IPA.

Of course we do put back a wicked Dark Chocolate Stout.

Red Stripe is Jamaican, but it is widely available. It's been pretty cheap around here lately. It has a bit of a bite to it. Can't say I've tasted another that is similar. It's goooood. You need to try it.

The one that gets her and your pants off.

And makes her good looking.

"Notice how she spelled 'bufetchitsa'"
What do you want from her - why should an attendant at beer joint be literate? It is not advisable, for then she might wish to, say, carve sculpture, compose poetry, design bridges or work in hard sciences - and who then be serving beer which isn't even there? And genitive from "pivo"=beer is "piva".

The best draft I've had in years was on tap at the Oyster Bar in Grand Central Station. Asked what it was and was told it came from a local brewery.

Any New Yorkers out there got the name?

While driving from Chochabama, Columbia to the Bene river I saw flags up on cane poles.
I thought that it meant bait was available.
I had the driver stop to see what type of bait it was and found out that it meant the Chicha was ripe.

I love a good IPA, especially on a hot day after I've unloaded and stacked 3 tons of three-string, 130 pound bales of hay.

You'd get my attention with that Dark Chocolate Stout, though.

Another classic fave - slow-pulled Guinness. Mmmmmmmmm

I read an article a few years back in Sports Illustrated. Of all the beers consumed in the world, not just the U.S.A. the king of beers is Budwiser with 40% of all sold, second was Miller at 17%, third was Coors at 6% all other beers, imported or otherwise, make up other 37%. Those percentages cover the whole line of beers produced by Bud, Miller, and Coors. ie.. Bud, Bud Light, Natural Light, and so on.

Personally, I'm a Coors man, Colorado Cool Aid

Chochabama, Columbia should be Cochabamba, Bolivia.

I love Guinness IN THE BOTTLE. For years people have been trying to tell me that the canned Guinness is SO much better. Yuck. Has absolutely no flavor.

Canned Guinness takes longer to be shipped over than the bottled, and the can sours it a lot faster. Canned Guinness tastes like the @()@&(!)@& can.

I agree. I laid a supply of Miller High Life and PBR in the garage fridge.
