If you're in Windows, right-click the file and click Properties. See if the file extension is .ram or .rm. Check the file size, it should be large. If it isn't, it's a small text pointer file to the actual media file. If memory serves, ram files are pointers. If so, open it in a text editor and see the location of the media file.

I was sure she said they do not have a computer.
