It is so transparent and pathetic that he got caught not going to committee meetings, then like a fool believed a liar like Biden's doubts and now has pulled out all stops trying to save himself from looking like a fool. Yeah, I was sorry to see the panel on Fox today say he was sincere. Everyone knows he is not including to of the three panel memeber and Brit. [Juan probably does not know per usual.] But I guess you can't really say was an insincere performance that was unless you can prove it. Unfortunately what everyone knows sometimes can not be objectively proven.

McCain is done, well done!, His moderate stance is not respected by anyone, especially the base on the right. McCain loves being the focus of the media and if he runs for POTUS in '08 it's strictly for his own ego. He simply has no time in his career as a public service where he can seen as a leader. Moderates simply don't lead, that's why they're called moderates. Moderates rely upon consensus and consensus is defined as the lack of leadership. Maggie Thatcher was once quoted as saying "Consensus is the absence of leadership"
