Thanks for being willing to take over the ping list!

There are two national stories that are current and have to do with homeschoolers. One was posted yesterday in regards to a homeschool boy winning the National Geography Bee - WOOHOO!!!

The other story is happening next Wednesday and Thursday - the National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C.

There are 34 homeschooled children out of the 273 participants. My son will be one of them due to winning the Colorado State spelling bee. We are leaving on Sunday to fly to Washington and would appreciate any and all prayers. My son is speller #37 and info regarding the bee can be found at www.spellingbee.com.

My daughter is graduating and leaving for college this year, and my son is an award-winning debater. I work as a judge coordinator for the tournaments in our league, and do understand about becoming more and more busy with your homeschooling schedule!!!
