I was gone this afternoon (out buying more plants) and didn't return until about 8:00 pm. So I missed the crying spell and now I learn I missed Pat Robert's bulldog imitation.

I've followed Robert's career since he was on the House Ag Committee nearly 20 years ago. He's a tough hombre'. The faint of heart should not cross him.

I'm so sorry I missed it. I'm sure some of his anger from yesterday was released. I'd have loved to have seen it.

It was totally unexpected. The underlying thing was that the questions asked in the Foreign Relations Committee (all by democrats) were using information that only 3 people are privy to: Roberts, Rockefeller, and a general. He was obliquely accusing Rockefeller of leaking this stuff to his pals.

I can't tell you how great he was! Dodd was actually whining when he thought he was being accused.

It was especially satisfying after Biden's supremely obnoxious attack on Bolton, as if Biden was so smart and Bolton was just a stupid, hot-tempered redneck.
