Thanks for the ping, Ron.
Up working late and saw the ping just in time to catch Ann. Never watched Craig Ferguson before.

Read a bit of the thread and expected her to be
horrible, but she was just herself. Hard to be on
Craig's wave length (whatever that is) so she didn't
let him drive her off the road.

Ann is an acquired taste. I find her graceful and elegant,
nobody's cookie cutter version of a conservative.
She's unique, and her individuality resonates.

She's not an actress, and she doesn't suffer fools.
She seemed incredibly good natured in the face of his
bobbing and weaving and acting like he didn't know
what she was talking about.

Ron, from your perspective, what was it like between them
during the commercial break?
She sure looked gratefully out at you guys in the audience, at the few whoops you were able to offer.
That must have meant a LOT to her.

Good job!

Thanks, doodlelady!
We MISSED you!
It is hard to get TOO serious about a TV show which featured (in addition to Ann)...
...a guy who imitates ALL the Star Wars characters (including sound effects)...

...and a couple who are famous for being famous:

From www.eonline.com/Features/Awards/Emmys2004:
Amber Brkich & Rob Mariano
Amber Brkich & Rob Mariano
And from www.realitytvworld.com:
...Survivor: All-Stars winner Amber Brkich and her fiance, runner-up "Boston Rob" Mariano, who became engaged during the show's live finale, have continued to negotiate with a couple of TV networks to have their wedding televised "sometime next year."
