Quite a few of the delegates had lunch at an outdoor cafe near the civic center, and there were locals walking past, shooting daggers from their eyes at us and making loud, negative comments.
What children! I just smiled at them.

Oh, and I am a cheapskate when it comes to hotels, so I did NOT stay at Grove Park. :)

Unless Mr. hummingbird has been going again to Internet places he shouldn't, I've had a slow computer for about a week and I have no idea why. I pretty much stay at FR (of course!), local news, "house-fixin'" sites, etc....generally, places I've always gone. Ho-hum, such a desperate housewife...

Not only has my computer suddenly slowed but a lot of times, PING list graphics that I've never had a problem getting are showing up as dreaded red x's. Sometimes I can open them with "show picture" and "refresh"...at other times I just don't get the graphic at all...just the red "x."

Do I need to "clean up" my "Mail" or "Pings?"

I have ZoneAlarm, which I think overrides the Ad-Aware and Spybot that I still have loaded...

Laz, feel free to comment on me being a computer "dumbie" by posting this. Hats are optional...
