as they face that final separation here on earth.
It is so hard to say goodbye.
Hold them close to you, take their hands,
walk with them that dark way
which is both separation
and birth into another life.
Surround her with the strength and comfort and resources
she needs to take the next steps,
the next weeks,
the next years,
and keep her close hand in hand.
Bring her husband home
to a place where pain and suffering will be no more.

Please ease the suffering of Barb's husband. I pray that the angels escort him home, and help Barb through this awful time.
Heal the affliction of her broken heart, and may the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, be there to comfort Barb in her overwhelming grief.

Prayers for your husband, may he die in peace and enter eternal rest where there will be no more pain. Prayers for you, I know how devastated I would be if I lost my husband. I pray that you have the strength to let him go to God even though your pain will be unbearable for a while and I pray for your healing with time.
