LOL, but I guess you could count "They Paved Paradise" as a beer drinking tune.

Not sure. But you can buy wrappers for beer cans that look like soda pop labels. Very good invention!
___________
Or grab that beer can full handed and drink it through a straw. They'll figure it's a soda.

American Pie is WAY too sappy for drinking a beer in the car. Maybe a wine cooler, if you're a chick.

Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf.
Dated but you'd need a dual processor to count the beers I cracked to that one.

I actually prefer 1940s swing and 18th century classical. So I certainly don't think my generation produced the best music. ;o)

Being a child of the 80s, and a staunch punkette even to this day, I still have those moments of RYS.
My songs:
1) Flashlight (P Funk)
2) One Nation Under a Groove (P Funk)
3) Sonic Reducer (Dead Boys)
4) Teenage Lobotomy (The Ramones)
5) Bullet (the Misfits)
6) Hungry like the Wolf (Duran Duran)
7) Europa and the Pirate Twins (Thomas Dolby)
8) Girl You Want (Devo)
9) Jocko Homo (Devo)
10) Only a Lad (Oingo Boingo)
Ah... memories...

Some early Santana music really was inspired. The whole Abraxis album was good. BTW, Black Magic Woman was an old original Fleetwood Mac song.
