"I feel so empty...

Mark"

I feel your pain. We need to protest for our equal rights. The coalition of the non-maladjusted, unharmed, non-unhappy, willing to work, pay taxes, support a bunch of dregs that, were we in virtually any other society in the world, would be allowed to drift back into the pond from whence they arose.

I sit in Arizona where some Mexican malcontent is trying to get the illegals to BOYCOTT the state. Actually, I guess he wants everyone to boycott AZ since we are nothiing but a bunch of racists.

It seems we deign to label those people that sneak across our soverign borders sans benefit of paperwork and proper ID, ILLEGAL.

That, my friend, translates in beanerspeak to RACISM!

Must be a book deal or movie plot in there somewhere.

My SIL is a lesbian, and I have no idea if she HATES men, but she sure doesn't spend any time around them if she can help it. Since she moved to our city about a year ago, I have been amazed at how insulated her life is. She spends all her time with other lesbians she has met, there are never any men at any of the events we have been to. Her time after work is spent with them, time on weekends, etc. I'm convinced that the only contact she has with straight men is strictly by accident and is something to be avoided.

All the women I have known who were practicing lesbians had a traumatic sexual experience with someone when they were a teen or very early in their adult years, or had been in an abusive relationship, and swore off men afterwards. Every one.
Tell me there is no correlation. (I am not saying someone might fixtate without this, but I am saying lots and lots of women who do this have this happen.)

I was about to post the very same thing. So 'ditto'. :)

"Isn't it also well documented that many heterosexuals were sexually abused when young?"

Yes, and many of these are in fact pedophiles as well.
Some adult victims are able to escape these issues, but the problem grows exponentially due to other adult victims molesting, sometimes, multiple children.
Add to that the "new morality" (actually the old immorality,) which is adding false authenticity to the deviant lifestyle of homosexuality and you have a recipe for pending disaster.

We are beginning to see the fruit of this in our current headlines.

I don't care. I don't want to know anything about her. I don't watch her. I don't listen to her. I don't watch her commercials. I won't buy prouducts she endorses. I don't read stories about her. I don't watch movies she is in.

In fact, you can insert just about any name of a Hollywood celebrity here.

I jsut don't care.

Amen to that...why do I have to hear about her sex life?

This is almost as shocking and unexpected as her revelation that she was homosexual.

Well, if you want her to get involved with men, you might convince her to join some Internet chat rooms for lesbians. From what I've heard, upwards of 75% of all lesbians in those chat rooms are acutally men.

Mark

I'm just a lesbian trapped in a man's body!

This Children's Hospital site denies that as a cause of homosexuality:

http://www.teenhealthfx.com/answers/Sexuality/3444.html

It’s true that someone who has been raped by a member of the opposite sex may, as a result, be fearful of future sexual experiences with members of that sex. However, there’s a difference between fearing heterosexual contact and becoming gay. Someone who fears sexual contact as a result of rape may need to work through those issues in order to have a healthy sex life with whatever sex attracts them. It is possible that this person may find their attraction to the opposite sex is strongly affected by this experience, and as a result they may choose, temporarily or permanently, to adopt a new sexual orientation. However, we should not assume that someone who is gay became that way because of a traumatic experience.

Seems everyone has been molested by their step-father. It's the new, hip "issue".

It's more a case of this: those who choose the gay lifestyle are often a subset of those who were molested or abused.

Not all who are molested or abused choose this.

Plus it's not PC to think this way. I know it from knowing a number of people with these orientations.

For teenage boys, it's often having first sex with an adult male that is a common feature (whether it's considered by them to be abuse or something they wanted) frequently between the ages of 13-16, just the age range the NAMBLA want.

You are just jealous that you couldn't just drive over to So. Dak. and buy beer at age 16 or so!

"She said the occurrences, which happened in her late teens, had no effect on her sexual orientation."

I dont think she is trying to blame the guy for her being gay going by the statement above....

Didn't Opra come up with some lame story about beating and abuse? Kinda funny how the hollywood type crowd comes up with this repressed memory/traumatized chilhood crap, when they feel they aren't being payed enough attention......
