I'm late to this thread but I was also thinking about Jay and wondering how he was doing. I'm pinging PeoplesRep_of_LA to this thread to see if we can get some information.
Someone did say that Jay was losing his sight and may not be able to post anything :( Even so, maybe someone has a private contact.
That thread was posted almost a year ago. Here's hoping for good news.
I FReepmailed PeoplesRep_of_LA several months ago, and I never got a response. I pinged JimRob to see if he knew how we could get in touch with some of Jay's family, but I never heard from him either. The last time I heard from Jay, he was losing his eyesight, and the cancer was destroying his pancreas. At that time he could only see about 18 inches in front of him. I felt so bad for him. I think he told me he was about 25, and married, but that's about all the information I had on him. That FReepmail was in October.
