There must be someone out there who knows him. Whether they are reading now is another matter.

He is not well. There was a thread about it back in Feb, and something on the OFST from that time. IIRC it was pancreatic something or other, but don't hold me to that.

Did you ever hear back regarding prime choice?
To: cyborg
He FReepmailed me several months ago and he was having a lot of problems with his eyes. Associated with the cancer. I haven't heard from him since. 8-( I'm still praying for him. He really needs our prayers.

I checked through my FReepmail, and this is the last mail I had from him. He was having a difficult time seeing, so perhaps that's why he hasn't been on line. Cancer was destroying his pancreas, as he states in this mail. Jim, do you have a way to contact him or his wife to see what's going on with his medical problems?
From Jay (Prime Choice)
" I'm still staying upbeat and all, but I am losing my vision. Optometrist tested my eyes and stated that my vision's degraded 5 steps in the past 8 weeks. (Vision normally degrades one step every 2-3 years.)
The doctor I went to today is trying to determine if this vision loss is related to (what remains of) my pancreas failing or whether there's another cause in play.
Right now I can only see around 18 inches ahead of me...and that's with my glasses on. Everything else is a ridiculous blur.
I'm doing my best to stay positive in light of all this. Got lots of great people praying for me and I'm still reasonably independent. Just can't drive or ride a bike now is all."
