How about a Vegas Trip for Freepers!
May 18th, 2005 | Vanity

Posted on 05/18/2005 11:34:21 AM PDT by missyme

Okay Freeper dudes and Freeperettes!

It has come to my attention that some folks around here would not mind meeting and socializing with other FReepers in Vegas!

So here's the Challenge! How many of you would want to go to Vegas?, one hotel for freepers and bring family, pets, whoever! to attend a Speaker (Conservative) Conference social weekend? or just a social?

We have some excellent planners around here! Pissant for one and some that shall remain nameless for the time being..

Okay seriously! post your opinions!

BTW: Everyone will have to wear there screen name.....

I tend to hover.
So I think I'll duct tape myself to something immobile, like the bureau drawers or something.

Unlesss I sleepwalk again.

*Hypnotized by the blinky lights!*

Only if only girls sign up to come.

Besides,
I'm probably the ONLY human on the planet who looks at Las Vegas and thinks "why?"

I like it, but it depends on when.

I already have a trip to Disney World slated for right before Christmas.

Sounds like a ball. I wouldn't know if I could go until something firm set up.

It's quite a town!

Only time I went to Vegas I was in my early 20, had no $, had to sneak in the KOA campgrounds. It would be nice to stay on the strip this time around like a grown up!

It depends on when. I'm game, but I am not a gambler. I could use a good road trip. Wouldn't want to fly and get wanded by the TSA zombies.

Would it be structured, or would it just be a hang out type of thing? Though, I am not sure I want to let Bertha out in public, she could hurt somebody. Perhaps I would just come as myself, be quiet and observe.

LOL!
Come walking back carrying someone, soaking wet, over my shoulder.
"Look what I found in the fountain!"

Never been there myself, my travels were limited to Fort Sill Oklahoma, my trips for family meetings and such in Ohio, and Fort Drum New York..

I go to Reno for ten days every year and don't gamble at all.

And Vegas is more fun.... There is plenty to do - besides drink, go to strip clubs and gamble. I just don't remember what they are. ;-)

When it does, it does so quite badly as evidenced by my spectacular bicycle wipeouts while growing up.
Straight from the opening credits of the 6 Million Dollar man.

Maybe not.
They'd probably be protesting mightily the entire way, and someone would point out that she was in the fountain because she ran there away from me.
*shrugs*

Wouldn't make a half bad skit, actually...
