I remembethe days when a kid could go to the grocery store and buy cartons for the parents and it was nothing.
My mom would say "Get over it!" if we had a problem, and we did with no problems hahaha......try to say that now and watch the shitstorm hahahaha
Another thing I remember is in church if you started to act up there was the nudge, then if you kept acting up there was the pinch.....rarely a child went past that because that meant a spanking "outside."
Yet we never had a problem with it either. Try that now and you go to jail....

Or go to the neighborhood bar and buy a pail of beer (I kid you not) for the geezers that used to sit and chat on their front porches. Boy, can you imagine that happening now?
