To quote the Rolling Stone Album guide: "Anka is the anti-Rocker who's notions of 'Class' and 'Professionalism' made Rock and Roll not only musically but morally and spiritually necessary."

"Everybody Hurts,"

R.E.M.? Nothing really lost there if he covers that song.

"Black Hole Sun"

I'm sure Chris Cornell is just thrilled about this news.

Paul Anka must have mellowed. When I saw him he didn't bitch out the audience for showing up late and the whole band was wearing t-shirts because their equipment got lost.

I've heard the tapes of him chewing out a band member for wearing a t-shirt onstage.

Makes Buddy Rich seem nice by comparison.

Band members trade these tapes around. Listen in sometime.

I'll only get pissed if he does a Guns n' Roses cover.

How about Lesley Gore singing AC/DC's "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap"?
