One time, I had a photo of Oliver Platt up on the computer screen. It was a younger photo. I asked my daughter, "who is that on the screen?". Not missing a beat, she replied, "Dad". Those 2 photos are not as good a comparison as I'd have liked, but in some photos the resemblance is even more striking. They have the same arched eyebrows. Oliver is 4 or 5 inches taller than Mr D.

As for Lee Majors, I met him once. He was very cordial and winked at me. I was proud that I didn't faint dead away.

He does. He is genuinely nice to everyone, and also has the ability to keep those around him in stitches. All my female friends love him, as do my family. Like I said, I would not trade him for any celebrity on the planet.
