Quick, someone call the writers of Law and Order... this will make a great show for next season.
Actually this was the exact plot line from a television show recently but for the life of me I can't remember what show/movie it was. My first thought when reading it was that it was inaccurate and actaully based on this show.

I think I remember this scenario being a part of the plot.There's probably more of this that goes on that we would like to think.
