Haven't watched SNL since the days of Belushi and Murray.

SNL?? NBC??
The cloud of PC saturating Saturday Night Live & NBC will carry them through any problem.

Their joy in sneaking the word under the wire is pretty childish, too.

I wondered if I actually heard that.

Big Deal. It was after 10pm so they didn't break any law.

I refuse to watch, but am interested to know if the Paula Abdul appearance added any fresh meat to the Corey Controversy. Anyone?
To: xjcsa
The few times I've watched that show in the last two years, it's been absolutely horrible. Very partisan (anti-Bush), and not even remotely funny.
To: xjcsa
I think I said it myself after the latest Howard Dean diatribe so, no harm no foul.
Kids shouldn't be up for SNL anyway, and the easily-offended have known since about 1974 not to tune in.

I held on until Dennis Miller got the axe. He was the only funny person on SNL for many years. Occasionally I'll tune in only to be sorely disappointed.
A test pattern is both funnier and more interesting.

Norm MacDonald was funny, too. The last straw was probably his joke: "Ellen Degeneres and her girlfriend announced they were planning to have a baby. Their plan hit a slight snag when they realized THEY WERE BOTH WOMEN."
