A good observation on your part. Welcome. I'm just going to give you a quick examination. Nothing to worry about. Please seat yourself in the chair. JimRob likes all our teeth to be in the best of condition.....

Do you like the sound of drills? I do. Very much so.
Looks like you're kept your dental hygiene up to snuff.

Welcome again. I'll send you a bill next week.
:)

The UN SecGen is, I believe, a 10 year posistion, and Kofi's time is almost done.

Now I wouldn't be suprised if ol' BJ C is posistioning himself somehow to get in. There might be rules about who is eligible to be UNSecGen, but rules are meant to be broken. And laws can always be changed. Heck, virtually all of FDR's New Deal programs were ALL considered unconstitutional when they were first promoted. But hey, if you push things hard enough or often enough, you can get anything changed.

My view is Bill will be made king of the world, by selling and promising as much of the US to the UN as he can. In return the UN and all the countries in it, will flood the next US election with as much money as possible, to get Hillary elected.

Imagine, Bill UNSecGen and Hillary POTUS. If this becomes a reality the United States will just be a suburb of Cuba.

Very good first post. Welcome to FR.

Keep in mind, Parton bought Davis' services. The speculation need be on his frame of mind. Since there's little to go on, it's quite possible Parton is willing to give a Clinton ally power as gatekeeper, both in court and in the media, in return for the Clinton faction's support to keep as many Democrats as possible from causing problems in the Congress.

By going just for the figureheads, Parton can resolve his issues with the Volcker committee, and Davis can protect those with more insidious dealings with the actual corruption, SELECTIVELY. There is no chance all the corrupt parties will be brought to justice, but, having Republicans publicly, and Democrats, through backroom channels with Davis, select mutually acceptable fall guys, the good times for everyone on the hill will continue to roll.

Both sides of the aisle would rather keep the UN, whether viewed as a friend, enemy, or nuisance, as close as possible, so they , or we, as Americans as a whole, can continue to use it to our ends.

The financial corruption at the UN doesn't personally affect politicians, unless the voter based gets all riled up about it. Davis can bridge this current situation for both parties.
