The Radio saysexit polling suggests Tony Blair's goverment taking a beating in the election in the UK. Anyone have any real knowledge of what is happenning?
First exit polls will be released when the polls close in two and a half hours.
No, but I heard Rush say the Tories might be on their way to an upset. Seems premature to say that, though.
If so, the most interesting thing is the fact that the media once again got it wrong, bigtime. Do these guys ever say anything that's true?
Wow! Do you really think the Tories could pull it out? They've been labeled racist for their immigration stance. Frankly I don't believe they have a chance in hell but Labour or Conservative is fine by me.
"Blair Wins!". Well, that's the foregone conclusion of the pre-election "polls" and the UK media.
I don't know.
Namath pulled it off.
I would be shockd if the Tories make up any ground, much less a landslide.
well those exit polls sure did predict President Kerry's landslide in the US didn't it.
me too.
"They aren't stuff'n them for the Tories that's for sure. They want Blair to stay in."
nope they want the Lib Dems so that Britain can be COMPLETELY emasculated and dominated by the Franco German Muslim axis
" They aren't stuff'n them for the Tories that's for sure."
Actually some of them are. See the story in The Times earlier in the week about the Bradford constituency.
What's the Tory position on Iraq and the WoT?
Anyone? Anyone?
there is a live thread on here somewhere.
In summary: Howard would have done exactly the same thing, but wouldn't have lied to Parliament and the electorate about the reasons for it and legality of doing it.
Rush said he had exit poll results showing the Tories doing well. This has not been confirmed anywhere else, least of all in the UK where freedom of speech is different from what it is here and leaking them is a crime.
I would be wary of this story because we'll know the truth when the polls close in 2 hours anyway.
You heard it on the "radio"?
What station? Who said it? When? Context?
