The horse joke is a HOMOSEXUAL joke? Rush is a nasty 50 year old?
Mmmm hmmm.
on a different note,...I heard a Chuck Schumer soundbyte about the Freedom Tower tussling , that could've been about the DemocRATS in Congress
Whoever she is, I'm pretty sure she posts here.......LOL.
I heard her. She posts her, I just know it!
We'll have to find out what her Freeper name is...
FOFL! Had a conversation or two with her, have ya?
I keep laughing about the gay horse thing - I'm a city gal and I knew even as a kid that joke was just poking fun at city folk. Nothing sexual in it at all, and so for it now to beturned into something homosexual is absolutely hilarious to me.
You name it - I'm planting it.
Tomatoes, peppers, squash, watermelon, eggplant, chiles, green beans, lima beans, peas, corn, lettuce, spinach, etc., etc. If it will grow in this area I will plant it :)
Hubby has given me the go ahead to try my hand at making pickles, relishes and other preserves and to have a roadside produce stand instead of getting a 'real' job. I'm really excited and want to get stuff in the ground, but the temps have still been dropping into the 30s some nights...hopefully this weekend will see the end of that.
Yes.
BOLO for "Betsy from Virginia." :-)
LOL!!!!!!
I realized after I hit post that my comment could possibly come off as a joke. It wasn't. The one and only blind date I had in my life, the guy was deaf. No romance blossomed, but we did become good friends, but lost track of each other about 15 years ago.
Too funny!!!!!!!!
LOL!
WOW!
I'm impressed!
I do bulbs and lilies.
They are about the only thing i can grow without killing them.
Plants fear me and tremble when they see me coming.
Let me know if you want canning recipes!
Caitlin did some Hot Pickled Peppers and some Strawberry Rhubarb Jam two years ago that took Honors at the big 4-H Fair.
I don't do flowers - I have a total black thumb when it comes to those and so was totally shocked when Jax came running into me a week or so ago to come see a flower.......it was a tulip of the most gorgeous purple I had ever seen and I have no idea where it came from because I didn't plant it and it wasn't there last year!
I am definitely interested in Caitlin's recipe for Hot Pickled Peppers. I do great hot pepper jelly, but have never tried pickling them. I'm also thinking of doing ristras - strings of dried hot chiles.
My SIL and 2 friends are openning a specialty gift shop up in Dover next month, and they are planning on a certain amount of speciality gourmet foods, so I'm going to approach them as well as a friend that owns a local seafood market that also sells locally made handcrafts.
The nutjobs on the left and right are really disturbed.
I'll see if I can find the recipe.
If I am lucky, I still have a copy or two printed out.
Your tulip came to you via squirrel.
They sometimes dig up and move bulbs.
Do you have a neighbor with purple tulips?
Let me know when you're going to pump out a full-fledged vanity. I can't waste my time with this! ;)
That's putting it mildly.
:)
Hey, you!
How are you?
The idea that it was a gay joke makes about as much sense as the idea that it was a m*******tion joke.
