All I can say is I've been to the Capitol in Austin. It is awesome.

You forgot to put in Texas is the only state in the contiguous US with their own electric grid. Or would that be electricity grid?

If I had created that list, I would probably have included that fact...especially since I spent 20+ yrs in the electricity bizness.
You refer to ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas).
However, I don't know how much longer the Texas grid will last, since there are some jealous lefty states out there who think they're entitled to tap in to the TX system so as to avoid building any nasty old power plants in their own pristine little states (Kalifornia, Taxachusetts, etc)
